The private, man made stream fed lake of about 2.5 acres is regularly re-stocked and holds approximately 300 brown trout and rainbow trout over 2 lb, with some fish over 10lb. It nestles in a natural, secluded valley beside a brook at Beanhill Farm, where the wild ducks are at home in this beautiful wildlife haven.

Under our sensitive stewardship and management, the lake is becoming a valuable nature asset, whilst providing a picturesque setting for a fishing experience with a difference.

For the serious angler, the contest of man against fish can prove satisfying enough. For the casual angler, it's also the perfect place to unwind - perhaps with a friend - and just enjoy the combination of a day's fishing within this unique environment.

There's rod and tackle hire, Fly Fishing Tuition if required, and we can provide a packed lunch if you wish, or direct you to some excellent local pubs if you prefer.

Bookings are essential please call Stuart and Teresa Taylor for further information.
